Work Inventories

• Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

The MBTI results help participants recognize the specific ways in which temperament influences how people view the world, make decisions, relate to others, communicate, do their work, and lead.  This useful self-report instrument is non-judgmental, based upon sound psychological insights and professionally interpreted.  It describes valuable differences beteween normal, healthy people - differences that can be the source of much misunderstanding and miscommunication.  When participants are aware of the differences in temperament among people they will better understand the best ways to use one another's strengths.

The MBTI product is used to support many different functions and situations including managing others, development of leadership skills, creation and management of teams, training for management and staff, motivation, generational diversity, recognition and rewards, and change management.

• The Enneagram Personality System

The Enneagram is a proven tool for better understanding ourselves and others.  It focuses upon what situations attract, motivate, and energize people and what circumstances individuals tend to avoid.  This program illuminates the ways these differences influence individual work, communication, learning, leadership, and decision-making styles. 

This inventory has been used with major league baseball players, in jury selection, in high-tech companies, as well as health services organizations.  Understanding the type of an employee can offer invaluable insight into how best employees can work together and benefit your organization.

Continuing Education Units

The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized method of quantifying the time spent in the classroom during professional development and training activities.  At Heart to Heart Communications, we listen to the specific needs of our clients and we customize the training or workshop to assure approval to issue CEUs.  Our experienced staff have provided CEUs for the following professional groups:

Vocational Reflection Groups

If you are like so many of us with multiple demands on your time and energy, you may value monthly opportunities for small group discussion on a regular basis.  The participants exchange insights, discuss concerns, offer support, grow spiritually and work together to build a foundation for a more purposeful and meaningful work life. 

Groups are comprised of people from the same workplace or from similar professional backgrounds and/or life situations (i.e. retirees, stay-at-home moms, club members, church groups, etc.)  Currently groups meeting regularly or occasionally are lawyers, doctors, mental health professionals, and business people.  Some have been meeting together for several years.

If you wish to join an existing group or to begin a new group, we can assist you.  You organize a group, select a time and a site that is convenient for the group members to meet.  We provide a facilitation manual and appropriate reflection materials to guide the group in personal and spiritual growth.
